NEA JOHN RENNA SCHOLARSHIP
John Anthony Renna bequeathed his estate to the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) for the purpose of supporting scholarships for art students of limited financial resources. The NEA John Renna Art Scholarships initiative awarded a grant for the Corcoran College of Art + Design to provide scholarships. With these funds, the Corcoran College will award four-year, half- and full-tuition scholarships for full-time enrollment beginning in the fall of 2008. Students will be evaluated based on their academic and artistic accomplishments as revealed in their application for admission and their financial need as evaluated through the Department of Education’s federal methodology (FAFSA results). Applications are due March 15, 2008. Please contact the Office of Admissions for details and an application.
