On Saturday, December 1, 2007, the Corcoran
College of Art + Design will host National Portfolio
Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
National Portfolio Days help further the artistic
development of young artists by bringing together experienced college
representatives to review
artwork and offer critique. They are also ideal opportunities for exchanging
information: about your work, yourself, and your college plans. They
are not an examination or competition. Your portfolio should include
your best work; but it may also include work in progress, sketchbooks,
and tear sheets. For specific art school portfolio requirements, contact
the particular college directly.
