The Corcoran’s graduate community of approximately 150 students originates
from numerous states across the U.S. and several countries around the world.
All of our students seek ways to inform and transform the human experience in
the world of art and design. There is a creative synergy between our institution
and its students who research, design, and teach. It is an exciting and powerful
benefit of the Corcoran’s graduate programs.
Admission is competitive and based upon an applicant’s previous academic
performance and evaluation of his or her competence and potential for success
in the program. Application requirements are listed below and vary by program.
Completion of an undergraduate degree is required for admission. Applicants
with questions about graduate programs or application procedures are encouraged
to contact the Office of Graduate Admission directly with any questions at
(202) 639-1814 or admissions@corcoran.org.
