Corcoran College of Art + Design students receive an education grounded in practical application and real-world experiences. The college curriculum places an emphasis on students mastering the core skills of art and design as a foundation for pursuing future careers in fields of their choice.

A note about Interior Design employment
The Corcoran College of Art and Design supports employment positions in Interior Design for students working under the direction of licensed or certified design professionals. The Corcoran does not encourage students to work directly for private clients for reasons of professional liability. Graduates of the Corcoran College of Art and Design Master of Arts in Interior Design program who are certified by NCIDQ or who work under the direction of licensed or certified designers are encouraged to explore all design employment opportunities.
