


The Corcoran Museum and College of Art + Design are located at the intersection of 17th Street and New York Avenue, NW, one block from the White House. The College entrance is on New York Avenue. A ramp entrance for persons with disabilities is located at 1701 E Street, around the corner from the Museumıs main entrance on 17th Street.

Metro rail
The Corcoran is conveniently located near two Metro rail stations:
FarragutWest on the Orange and Blue lines (use 17th St. exit during the week and 18th
St. exit on the weekend). Walk south down 17th Street to the Corcoran. (On
the weekend, walk south on 18th Street, turn left onto New York Ave., the Corcoran
will be on your right.)
Farragut North on the Red line (use K St. exit)
Walk south down 17th Street to the Corcoran.
The Corcoran is also accessible by Metro bus.

Parking
Metered street parking is available in the area from 9:30am to 4pm daily, and free street parking is available after 6:30pm weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Public parking is also available in parking garages located just a short walking distance from the Corcoran on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Train
From Amtrak at Union Station, take the Metro. Take the Red line Metro train to the Farragut North Station. Walk six blocks south along 17th Street to the Corcoran. You may also take a short cab ride from Union Station to the Corcoran.
Driving
From the north/west on I-95:
Go south on 95 and the Capital Beltway (Route 495) towards Richmond. Exit on the Baltimore/Washington Parkway heading towards Washington. Take Route 50 west into Washington. Follow Route 50 into the city and turn left onto 15th Street. Turn right onto Constitution Avenue and take a right onto 17th Street. The Corcoran will be on your left after approximately 3 blocks.
From the north on I-270:
Go west on the Capitol Beltway (Route 495) towards Silver Spring, MD. Exit the Beltway at Route 185/Connecticut Avenue. Follow Connecticut Avenue downtown to K Street. At this point Connecticut Avenue runs into 17th Street. Continue straight on 17th Street for approximately seven blocks to the Corcoran, which will be on your right.
From the South on I-95:
Exit on Route 395 North. Follow 395 over the bridge following signs to Rt. 1, Downtown DC. Turn left onto Madison Drive, then right onto 15th Street and then left onto Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Ave to 17th Street. Make a right turn onto 17th Street and continue approximately 3 blocks to the Corcoran, which will be on your left.
From the West on I-66:
Follow across the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Bridge into Washington. Stay right, exiting onto Constitution Avenue. Take a left onto 17th Street. The Corcoran will be on your left after approximately 3 blocks.
Airports
Dulles Airport:
Take the Washington Flyer Express Bus (runs every 30 minutes) to the West Falls Church (VA) Metro rail Station. Take the Orange line train to the Farragut West Metro Station. Walk south down 18th Street, turn left onto New York Ave., the Corcoran will be on your right. Or you can take a cab to the Corcoran.
BWI Airport:
Take a shuttle bus to the BWI Rail Station (about one mile from the airport). Take the MARC train (runs about once every hour) from the BWI Rail Station to Union Station in DC. From Union Station you may take the Red line Metro train to the Farragut North Station. Walk six blocks south along 17th Street to the Corcoran. You may also take a cab from Union Station or the airport to the Corcoran.
Reagan National Airport:
Accessible by Metro, take the Blue line Metro train to the Farragut West Station. Walk south down 18th Street, turn left onto New York Ave., the Corcoran will be on your right. Or you may take a cab to the Corcoran.
