Summer 2008
Pre-College Programs
FOCUS on Photojournalism
Spend Your Summer Immersed in the Pre-College
Experience at the Corcoran.
Headquartered in the digital labs at the Corcoran’s Georgetown Campus,
FOCUS on Photojournalism offers students the opportunity to enhance their
photography skills while exploring the world of photojournalism in the
nation’s capital. During this two-week residential program, students
attend daily classes that delve into real-life situations. Award-winning
Washington-based photographers visit the program to show their work and
talk about their areas of expertise. Assignments take students behind
the scenes at locations such as the Capitol, the White House, the National
Mall, and the new Washington Nationals Stadium.
NOTE: STUDENTS NEED TO BRING A DIGITAL CAMERA
